Front Desk Night Audit - Full Time

Audit
- Verifies information and ensures that daily transaction reports balance to computer print outs.
- Calculates daily revenues by outlet.
- Balances credit card slips to point of sale print outs.
- Verifies rates charged to guests to ensure that correct room rates are charged.
- Balances rebates and paid outs from the Front Desk audits.
- Balances Movie Charges and Rebates.

Audit Administration
- Prints morning reports.
- Prints registration cards.
- Reviews City Ledger accounts to ensure that both the guest and the company are billed completely and accurately.
- Key enters information to post banquet bills to accounts and hotel outlets.
- Completes bucket checks to ensure check ins and check outs are filed properly.
- Completes a rate check to ensure that guests are billed accurately.
- Checks that amounts for movie rentals are posted and posts corrections.
- Monitors telephone system to ensure all calls are posting accurately.

Guest Service
- Checks guests in and out of the hotel.
- Responds to telephone enquiries, giving out information, taking reservations and responding to requests for items such as wake up calls or extra pillows.
- Liaises with guests to resolve problems and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provides assistance to guests with their luggage.

General Tasks
- The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to delivering superior customer service, a flair for detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- To operate the Front Desk in a manner to meet and exceed the expectations of arriving and departing guests.
- To perform and complete the Night Audit tasks consistent with Accounting standard operating procedures.
- To oversee the safety and security of guests and associates while maximizing the integrity of company assets.


- Previous hotel guest service experience is a definite asset along with multiple languages.

- Proven computer knowledge specializing in Word, Excel, and/or Opera.

Guest Services Guest Services Agent - Full time

An exciting opportunity exists within our hotel for a full time Guest Services Agent that allows for growth and development.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Guest Services Management team in the daily operations of the Front Desk, which includes front desk operational duties, administration, execution of service standards and ensuring you own the guest experience with each interaction.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner and provide a seemless and efficient check-in. Explain features and benefits of the hotel.

Handles billing inquiries, answers phones, provides information on local activities

Responsible for accurate and efficient check-out and that all billing is correct.

Prepares room keys, assigns guest rooms, communicates with housekeeping on status of available inventory

The ideal candidate can multi-task, make quick decisions and empower themselves to ensure that each guest is satisfied before they leave the hotel

Computer proficiency is required

Previous experience in a full service hotel on the front desk is preferred.

Guest Support Services Agent - Casual (weekends, AM, PM, overnight), Full Time (overnight)

As Guest Support Services Agent, your primary role will be to assist the Guest Service Support Manager

Safeguard the Hotel’s and Guests’ assets, personal safety and property, while providing support to hotel operations through:

IT support of Hotel systems
Facilitate an efficient Parking Operation to achieve guest satisfaction and expected profitability
Assuring that Life Safety standards are being maintained and adhered to
Routine patrols/surveillance
Complete investigations and the reporting of incidents
Implement, lead and monitor projects such as access control systems, camera systems, in-house communication systems, PC, wiring troubleshooting and repair and parking operations.
Heavy emphasis on this position is closing ticketed items in IT as well as hotel surveillance.

* needs to be available Friday and Saturday nights

-Candidate must have proficiency in PC repair , troubleshooting, program installation, Microsoft active directory and networking.
-Hotel front desk experience is preferred as technical proficiency with Opera, Delphi, Micros and Datapark systems is required
-A valid certificate in life safety training (first aid, CPR, AED) or willingness to obtain
-A valid driver’s license
