The Banquet Porter ensures guest satisfaction by setting events to the requirements as communicated by the client. They are responsible for the setting up and tearing down of tables, chairs, linen, staging, dance floor, props, lighting, plants and other items required for functions. Need to be able to lift and carry chairs, tables, and other equipment.

Food & Beverage In Room Dining Server - Part time

This position plays a key role in delivering food and beverage orders to the guest in their rooms in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.

Works with all team members in a professional and courteous manner.
Be a proactive member of the team by supporting others, offering suggestions and taking initiative and ownership of own actions.
Participate in Hotel directed training and development programs
Resolve problems to ensure positive team member relations.
Is pleasant and courteous with all guests.
Provides guests with prompt delivery of product.

Requirements:

Is an independent, self-motivated individual who works well alone or in a team.

Ensure Wine Bar set according to standard prior to start of Service
-Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner
-Complete beverage orders taken directly from guests.
-Ability to address guest dissatisfaction immediately and ensure appropriate resolution.
-Ensure bar stocked and inventory levels meet predetermined par stocks;
-Ensuring all standards and policies are being met and adhered to on a consistent basis.

Requirements:

Housekeeping Assistant Executive Housekeeper ( 1 year contract )

Overview

Responsible for housekeeping, laundry and related third party team members. Works with the Executive Housekeeper to successfully execute all housekeeping operations, including guest room arrival and checkout procedures. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.

Education and Experience

Minimum 2-3 year diploma or degree from an accredited college or university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major;

Minimum 2 years managerial experience in the guest services, housekeeping, or related professional area;

Functional knowledge working with computer software (Microsoft Office, Payroll, Key Control)

Leading the Team

• Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

• Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.

• Oversees the day-to-day operations. Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.

Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities

• Provides guidance and direction to subordinates.

• Solicits employee feedback, utilizes an “open door” policy to identify and address employee problems or concerns.

• Interviews and recommends hiring of hourly team members with the appropriate skills and in a timely manner to meet the business needs of the operation.

Additional Responsibilities

• Informs and/or updates the Executive team, peers and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.

• Identifies and analyzes Housekeeping operational challenges and facilitates the development of solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
